Bob Williams

Bob Williams knows his way around golf courses. Being in the golf business for over 35 years, Bob started as an internal auditor and then Controller for Club Corp in Dallas, Texas. He then was recruited to join American Golf Corporation in Los Angeles, California, where he eventually became President and CEO. Under his leadership, the company grew from 14 golf courses to over 200. Bob later left American Golf Corporation to start his own golf course management business, Golf Enterprises. This company acquired and managed 50 courses and it was taken public on the NASDAQ exchange- the very first publicly held golf course company. The company was later purchased by American Golf during which Bob worked for a year to ensure a seamless merging of the two companies. Over his career, Bob’s ability to meet financial targets for each golf course was key to their success and growth. You can still occasionally find Bob on the course with his two grandsons.

Joe Flood

Joe is a former collegiate golfer at USC and played one year on the Australian Golf Tour. He is currently a member at Bel-Air Country Club and two-time former club champ. Joe’s familiarity with golf clubs goes back a long way to when his father Jim, founder of Aldila and co-founder of Odyssey Putters, belonged to 4 private clubs in 1969.

Joe has been a committed insurance professional since 1982, gaining experience at Jardine Emmett & Chandler, Alexander & Alexander, IHG and finally AON before joining M.G. Skinner in 2001. At first an Account Executive, Joe’s role expanded to service and develop relationships with newly formed broker partners as M.G. Skinner began to augment it’s traditional distribution channels. In 2007, Joe introduced Ian Graham to Mike Skinner in what would be the first step in forming Graham West Insurance Services, and an eventual nearly $20M book of D&O and Crime business.

Since its founding, Joe has provided promotional and service support to this program that now operates under the Skinner Select brand. His areas of expertise include community associations, apartment risks and commercial properties. Coverage expertise includes D&O, crime, property, GL and umbrella.
